Background and Brief

FC Helsingor are a Danish football club currently competing in the country’s 1st Division. After a recent takeover, they wanted a crest that honoured the past of both themselves and the city.

The Project

The design takes inspiration from Helsingor’s coat of arms, as well as its rich history, location and Kronborg Castle. The colours and horizontal stripe are influenced by the club’s traditional kits.

The style and design allows the crest to be used, and simplified, across a range of media at various sizes, while retaining legibility.
